On the track “wacced out murals” from his surprise drop, GNX, Kendrick Lamar told the world not to “let no white comedian talk about no Black woman, that’s law.” On an episode of his podcast FLAGRANT last December, “comedian” Andrew Schulz shared his thoughts on K. Dot’s eye-catching lyrics — and what he would do if he ran into the rapper alone.
“…Just Kendrick? I would make love to him and there’s nothing he could do about it …Just Kendrick Lamar, I would make love to him. And the only thing that he could do is decide if it’s consensual or not. … I would go so far as to say he couldn’t stop most people on the planet from having sex with him. … He’s talking a lot of shit, but if it came down to it I could put him on my lap, I could feed him a bottle,” he said.
K. Dot never responded to the comments directly, but the Internet tore into the comedian for his insensitivity, saying he went too far. Nevertheless, Schulz still defends himself against the controversial episode.
Schulz said what he said
In an interview on The Breakfast Club on March 10, the comedian said he had a right to make his side-eye-worthy remarks since Lamar came for him first on GNX (keep in mind that the rapper never said Schulz’s name directly on the track).
“They made that shit racist so fast. I’m just saying he’s little! I hate having to explain jokes. He’s itty bitty, so why is he telling people to kill my friends? … The next line, he goes… ‘Slide on both of them.’ What does ‘slide’ mean to y’all? If you say kill my friends, everything after that is fine. You took it there … You gettin’ made love to. I don’t like this idea that I’m this big bully. You told your people to kill my friends,” he said.
It’s highly doubtful that K. Dot will respond to Schulz at this point, but everyone else is fed up with hearing him defend himself.
In other news, the world got to watch him get beat up on WWE this week … even if it was by Logan Paul.
