At this point, Drake being petty shouldn’t be a surprise. This is the same man who slid into a hater’s wife’s DMs “cause she’s prob miserable and needs some excitement in her life” back in 2022. He has even done the most legally, recently refusing to take the L in his battle against Kendrick Lamar and instead coming for UMG (and the streamers who loved “Not Like Us).
Now, it seems like even his previous collaborators who stayed out of the rap beef aren’t safe from his sneak disses.
It’s Drake Bell — not Drake Graham
On February 5, DJ Khaled announced that his next album, Aalam of God (named after his son), was dropping later this year. With an action-packed trailer featuring Mark Wahlberg and Anthony Ramos, Khaled pulled out all the stops — and had plenty of teasers for fans.
He mentioned that he was trying to secure Rihanna for the record and had another “100 bar” verse from Jay-Z. However, he also noted that he had two Drake songs (something he previously teased back in 2023) that will be featured on the album.
Drake took to the comments to immediately dispute that news, stating that it must be Drake Bell who’s featured, not him.
DJ Khaled has since deleted the announcement post — and the fans’ theories have begun. Drizzy hasn’t elaborated more on his involvement or lack thereof in Khaled’s next album, but it’s looking like there won’t be a “POPSTAR” part two.
