Tay Keith (aka Brytavious Keith Chambers) is the youngest producer ever nominated for a Grammy (for “Sicko Mode” at the 2019 ceremony at just 23 years old) and easily has one of the most recognizable producer tags in the game.
In 2024, he won his third Producer of the Year award at the Broadcast Music, Inc. Awards. This year, he was featured on Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list. To top it all off, he has also co-founded DRUMATIZED, Nashville’s second Black-owned studio and label.
Having produced hits for artists across genres from Sexyy Red to Beyoncé, Tay Keith has plenty of chart success to his name, including multiple Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 songs: 2023’s “First Person Shooter” (Drake & J. Cole), 2022’s “Jimmy Cooks” (Drake & 21 Savage), and 2019’s “Sicko Mode” (Drake & Travis Scott). Thanks to La Flame, though, Tay Keith has once again made history.
Tay Keith is making money moves
Not only did Travis Scott secure his fifth No. 1 single with “4×4,” but Tay Keith also joined an elite group of hip-hop producers who have four No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100. To keep the momentum going, Keith produced Jack Harlow and Doja Cat’s new track “Just Us,” which dropped on March 20th.
With smooth 808s and an elite dinner party vibe, Keith may have another hit on his hands. The music video features flirty exchanges between Harlow and Doja, plus cameos from actor Matt Damon, singer-songwriter and producer PinkPantheress, producer DJ Drama, sports journalist Taylor Rooks, and more.
Adding to the star power, the video was directed by Neal Farmer, known for editing Kendrick Lamar’s “N95” music video (which dropped back in 2022).
It’s only March, and Keith is already on a roll—here’s hoping for even more bangers ahead.
