Kendrick Lamar Might Be on The New Clipse Album

Drake haters, time to suit up.

Before he revealed Drake’s son to the world, Pusha T was part of the hip-hop duo Clipse with his brother No Malice. After meeting Pharell Williams, their first commercial album, Lord Willin’, dropped in 2002.

From there, the duo began releasing even more projects as their popularity continued to grow. They were even able to do side quests like their fashion line, Play Cloths. After their last project, Till the Casket Drops, was released in 2009, Clipse has been MIA—until now.

They previewed a new song, “Birds Don’t Sing,” during the Louis Vuitton Men’s Spring-Summer 2025 show before eventually confirming that they had a new project in the works.

Titled Let God Sort ‘Em Out, Pusha T stated that the album was completed last December, with production entirely by Pharell.

“Y’all know how we’re very precious with this music. We are very, very meticulous about everything that we do when it comes to that … We take long. We always take long. People be mad, but it’s okay. ‘Cause it’s done and I’m tellin’ y’all it’s done. I promise you, I have it in my phone,” Pusha T said while at Art Basel Miami

Now, fans are getting a sneaking suspicion that another Drake opp will be making a special appearance on the project.

It’s a Drizzy hater reunion

During an interview on the Ghetto Runways podcast last September, Pusha T said that the upcoming album was “…just waiting on a feature. Just waiting on a feature, bro. Just waiting on a feature,” with a smile.

TikTok user nigelcooper2012 on January 12 then shared his theory that the feature is from Kendrick Lamar due to one of his TikToks getting muted for using the track “Chains and Whips.”

“…TikTok muted my sound for UMG copyright … ‘Chains and Whips’ is the name of the diss track that Clipse debuted at the Louis Vuitton fashion show, and TikTok is telling us that Kendrick Lamar is supposed to be on this song … Kendrick Lamar was working on GNX up until the release date, so after GNX came out, he had enough time to sit down and focus on that verse…” he said.

Nobody from Kendrick or Clipse’s teams has confirmed or denied anything. Nevertheless, fans are excited for what could be another lethal diss track from the minds behind “The Story of Adidon” and “Not Like Us.”
