Months after crashing out on his former co-host Mitch and Concrete Boys signee Karrahbooo on Instagram Live, Lil Yachty revived the “A Safe Place” podcast. Rocking a Mase-inspired haircut, the rapper sat down with Lil Baby to discuss all things music, Thugga, and how he really feels about snitching.

First, though, the more positive news is that WHAM is not the only project that the rapper has in the works. He revealed on the show that WHAM will drop on January 3, but his next album, Dominique, will be released the following month.
“I feel like WHAM is more like me on some young n**** shit … fast cars, girls, jewelry, money — the turnt lifestyle. Dominique is the more serious me,” Lil Baby said.
The conversation turned to his collaborators, with Lil Baby saying he is “definitely happy Slime is home.” He then shared more exclusive news—that he was at Thugga’s house the day it was raided and left just two hours prior.
“That shit really could have been me. N**** had to change their whole life around … These are n***** that I grew up around,” he said.
Understandably, the rapper isn’t the biggest fan of snitches, especially after watching what his friend went through.
“I am always going to look at certain stuff a certain way … It boils down to what we are rapping about. We can’t rap about that if you did that. If I was making Christmas music, then I don’t give a d*** what you did,” he said.
He also recently sat down with Charlamagne Tha God and discussed his current relationship with Gunna.
“We don’t got no relationship … The Internet will say anything. You know how many hits I got? I only see what I gotta see … I don’t read comments and all that,” he said.
With the Internet now knowing where Lil Baby stands, the hype to hear his new music is only growing.
