Lil Yachty has been going through it recently. He got called out online for being a bad friend to his podcast co-host Mitch after embarrassing him during an August interview with Key Glock. Then, he crashed out on Instagram Live and called out both Mitch and former Concrete Boys member Karrahbooo the same month, stating that she owes him $900,000 and that he wrote her On the Radar freestyle.
Since then, the rapper has been trying to move forward, dropping a surprise for fans on October 20 with three new songs and accompanying music videos. Nevertheless, drama is never far from Lil Yachty’s doorstep.
Is Lil Yachty a thief?
Yachty’s new songs are “We Ball Forever,” “All Around the World,” and “Cry Me A River.” He covers everything from staying locked in on music to staying out of rap beef while his videos travel everywhere, from a massive closet to the forest. However, it was his music video for “We Ball Forever” that is now being put under a microscope.
Producer and rapper Curtis Williams (formerly in the Atlanta crew Two-9) called out Yachty for apparently jocking his style, specifically with the fisheye lens used in the music video.
He posted a side-by-side of Yachty’s music video and a video that he recently shot in the same style, captioning it with “LMAO COME ON NOW.” He also left some crying emojis on Yachty’s page promoting the new song, but Yachty has yet to respond to Williams’ allegations.
Controversy continues to follow Lil Yachty like a dark cloud. However, he continues to practice what he raps—focusing on himself, putting out music, and ignoring the noise.
