Welcome to the wildest chapter of Fortnite yet, where pickles rap, the black market is home, and being “Lawless” is encouraged. Fortnite’s Chapter 6 Season 2 stars Big Dill: the pickle who’s currently dropping diss tracks against T-Pain, might drop a podcast (hopefully not), and is becoming one of the biggest vegetables in the rap game.
Meanwhile, on the other side of Fortnite’s ever-evolving world, the anime Cowboy Bebop is in the mix, and Mortal Kombat’s Sub-Zero character is dropping in with his icy death punches. It’s a chaotic land of explosions, drama, and questionable life choices—and it’s only getting started. Grab your rocket guns and suit up. It’s about to get weird.
What is Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2: Lawless about?
The world got its first taste of Big Dill’s spicy personality in the gameplay trailer that dropped on February 18—and let’s just say, this pickle is nothing but trouble. Teaming up with The Brat—a hot dog rocking glasses (because of course)—their group, “The Tasty Bois,” premiered their new track “Runamok.”
They’re clearly serious rappers, and you can catch the song on their official SoundCloud page. You know, for the street cred and to boost their popularity.
Expect explosions, major paydays, and black-market rocket guns, as Big Dill is ready to bring the drama in Fortnite’s next chapter.
But what led to T-Pain and Big Dill getting in a pickle? Fortnite dropped a video on February 19, revealing the dramatic saga of how Big Dill and T-Pain went from friends to bitter enemies. Apparently, T-Pain invited Big Dill to collab in the studio, and after too much pickle juice (try that on a night out instead of tequila), T-Pain had to take a bathroom break. Big mistake.
While he was gone, Big Dill swiped all his beats, wrecked the studio, and dropped 15 diss tracks using T-Pain’s own tunes. Why? Oh, because T-Pain ate a pickle in front of him in the club. It’s almost as rude as being called a pedophile on national television.
Now, after a year of Grammy-worthy diss tracks, owl pinata destruction, and crushing minivans because “Family Matters”, this beef is one of the weirdest in music history. Fortnite once again proves it’s not just keeping up with the culture—it’s creating it.
What else does Fortnite Lawless have in store?
In the new chapter, you can catch Big Dill making music (thanks to T-Pain’s laptop) and trying to popularize his very own shady currency, Dill Bites (inspired by President Trump’s meme coin, perhaps?). You might want to avoid putting your life savings into that one.
However, if you’re more into playing with your veggies on your plate than in the game, there are plenty of other updates to look forward to. For starters, the anime Cowboy Bebop is joining the party. Epic Games announced the crossover on February 20, so prepare to suit up as Spike Spiegel or Faye Valentine. These iconic characters will hit the Item Shop on February 28, and there’s also a chance to earn a free wrap and loading screen by completing special quests.
For the Mortal Kombat fans, there’s something for you, too. The character Sub-Zero from the game now has a Kombat Kit available, with more fighters hopefully on the way (the streets need Scorpion).
It might not be the “Wild, Wild West,” but the new chapter in Fortnite’s ever-evolving world is definitely “Lawless,” with players able to let their inner criminal shine. With Big Dill continuing to drop diss tracks against T-Pain solo or along with The Brat, you can turn up while playing the game all night long.
