We Asked Fans To Rate Playboi Carti’s Antagonist Tour

Here's what they said.

Two years and one scrapped rollout later, Playboi Carti’s Antagonist Tour is finally here—and the energy couldn’t be higher. Originally announced in 2023, the tour was canceled with little explanation. Since then, Carti’s been slowly building toward its rebirth. His headlining performance at Rolling Loud LA this year—just two days after the release of MUSIC—left even casual listeners feeling like they’d slept on a monumental moment.

In the months that followed, a co-headlining tour with The Weeknd and a string of viral clips only fueled the demand. Now Antagonist 2.0 delivers on the original promise: unfiltered chaos from the Opium boss and his roster (Ken Carson, Destroy Lonely, Homixide Gang, and Apollo Red).

A third of the way through his tour dates, it looks like it’s shaping up to be Carti’s biggest production yet. Fans of “GOOD CREDIT” were gifted a rare performance from the Vamp and Boogeyman himself, with Kendrick Lamar popping out at the LA show. Listeners from back in 2016? They were treated to an A$AP Rocky reunion.

But is the Antagonist 2.0 Tour really as wild as it looks online? We asked some of Carti’s most dedicated fans to find out.

What was the craziest moment of the show?

When it comes to Carti, “crazy” is baseline—but one moment at the Antagonist Tour’s LA stop still stood out. After playing several songs, Carti brought out Kendrick Lamar to perform “GOOD CREDIT,” marking only the second time the two have ever shared a stage.

The link-up carried weight: 2025 gave us their first collaboration on Carti’s MUSIC album, an unexpected pairing between two rappers at the top of their game but from completely different worlds. The first time they performed together was during Kendrick’s Grand National Tour in Atlanta; this was the follow-up. For two artists with that level of mystique, it’s a rare sight.

Every fan we talked to who attended the LA show called it the highlight of the night:

  • “Craziest moment had to be the surprise special guests Kendrick and A$AP Rocky” (IG: c.kevinn)
  • “The craziest moment was when Kendrick came out for good credit” (IG: chambers.archive)
  • “Craziest moment was when Kendrick came out!” (TT: chris.l0p3zzz)
  • “Craziest moment was Carti performing “24 songs” and going to my section, and Kendrick performing his part of ‘good credit'” (TT: qlwte)

For fans outside LA, there were still plenty of wild moments—from flares in the crowd to Carti performing “Pop Out” six times in a row.

  • “Carti got down in the pit and everyone was going crazy when he played ‘Pop Out’ 6x times” (TT: marcaploxt)
  • “One of the craziest moments was seeing the massive truck and platform move closer towards the crowd! Got an amazing view!” (TT: codecrxstian)
  • “Carti came to my section and I pushed my way through to get the video” (TT: mostdope2008)
  • “Craziest moment had to be when some guys snuck in flares and lit them up” (IG: klxtches)

Was there a song you really hoped to hear but didn’t?

Carti’s Antagonist setlist has varied from city to city, though one thing’s consistent: he’s running through a heavy lineup from MUSIC. Tracks like “Pop Out” (which he plays multiple times a night), “Like Weezy,” “Charge Dem Hoes a Fee,” “2024,” and “Evil Jordan” all bring his latest era to life. He also sprinkles in hits from Whole Lotta Red—“Sky,” “Rockstar Made,” “Stop Breathing”—and a few throwbacks like “Long Time (Intro)” and “Shoota” from Die Lit.

There are two unreleased songs, “Rockstar” and “Made It This Far” (24 songs), have also made the setlist, rumored to be part of his next album, BABY BOI.

Still, no matter how deep the setlist goes, Carti fans are a different breed. They know unreleased songs you didn’t even know existed, how many ad-libs are in each track, and even what coat he wore to the club on a particular night. Naturally, they’ve got personal favorites they were hoping to hear—and not all of them made the final cut.

  • “A song I really hoped to hear was ‘Flex’, that would have been crazy” (TT: mostdope2008)
  • “I was hoping to hear more unreleased music” (IG: c.kevinn)
  • “Hoped to hear ‘Different Day'” (IG: chambers.archive)
  • “Location” (IG: klxtches)
  • “Choppa Won’t Miss” (TT: chris.l0p3zzz)
  • “I was really hoping to hear ‘South Atlanta Baby’! Other than that, perfect setlist!” (TT: codecrxstian)
  • “Wish he played ‘FOMDJ’ 💔” (TT: browncharlie163)

Which Opium artist had the best performance (besides Carti)?

Ken Carson currently pulls in 7.4M monthly listeners on Spotify. Destroy Lonely? A very respectable 4.3M. Clearly the Opium artists assisting Carti on the tour have dedicated fanbases of their own, ready to rage at a moment’s notice. But who stole the show? Homixide Gang? Apollo Red? The fans let us know:

  • “Ken Carson definitely had the best performance, ‘Lose It’ and ‘Fighting My Demons’ were both insane” (TT: qlwte)
  • “Ken Carson’s set was madness” (IG: chambers.archive)
  • “Ken Carson’s performance was soo fire when he played ‘Rock n Roll’” (TT: mostdope2008)
  • “Definitely Ken Carson, everyone was going crazy in the pits once we heard ‘Lord of Chaos’ and everything being red made the vibe crazy” (TT: marcaploxt )
  • Homixide Gang’s set was amazing. I’ve been wanting to see them for years and glad I finally did! (TT: codecrxstian)

Describe the tour in 3 words.

Whole Lotta Red. I AM MUSIC. Carti is no stranger to 3-word phrases, so we asked the fans to describe the tour in 3 words of their own.

It’s safe to say that some of Playboi Carti’s biggest supporters had a hell of a time during the Antagonist Tour. Need more evidence of this? When asked to rate the show, they gave a unanimous 5-out-of-5 stars. Seems like Carti’s raging isn’t stopping any time soon.
