Drake has been known for his ultra-luxurious purchases when it comes to clothing, jewelry, and even airplanes (humbly calling his Air Drake). Naturally, his decadent taste extends to real estate because what’s a collection of Birkin bags for your future wife without a lavish room to store them in?
Drake’s 50,000-square-foot mansion in Toronto, which he described as “overwhelming high luxury” to Architectural Digest, is unlikely to ever be sold or rented, but another property in his portfolio is on the market. Those with serious bread can now rent Drake’s Beverly Hills estate for $250,000 a month.
Below, find out why Drake’s trying to unload his LA residence (no, it has nothing to do with Kendrick) and what renters get for the exorbitant price tag.
Why is Drake renting his LA property?
Drizzy bought the estate for $75 million in March 2022— however, it was back on the market in May 2023. Prospective sellers didn’t bite, and it was re-listed a year later for $88 million. Drake may have to take an L, though. Redfin, the real estate guru, estimates the house is now worth a mere $69 million — meaning Drake could be in for a $6 million loss if it sells at that price.

“Drake’s mansion sits outside the confines of a ‘true’ Beverly Hills location, and those willing to pay that high of a price tag are typically home shopping on Billionaires Row in Malibu, Beverly Hills Proper or Bel Air, California,” making it a “hard sell,” Scott Gorelick, realtor at The Agency RE in Beverly Hills, told Newsweek.
While renting the mansion is an alternate way to turn a profit, it would take 300 months at the current rental price of $250,000 to make back his initial $75 million investment—that’s 25 years.
What does the property include?
If you’re wondering why it costs a small fortune to live here, you’re not alone. This Tuscan-style mansion, built in 2001 for Guess co-founder Armand Marciano, is not your average house in suburbia—it’s practically a palace. After Marciano, it was snagged by English pop star Robbie Williams (the guy Better Man is based on), so clearly, it’s got some serious star power. Perched on nearly 20 acres above Benedict Canyon, this property is a mini kingdom.

So, what do you get for $250,000 a month? Well, this mansion comes with 10 bedrooms and a staggering 22 bathrooms. That’s 2.2 bathrooms per bedroom, so you’d never worry about fighting for the last square of toilet paper again. All of this is spread across almost 25,000 square feet, with three levels of living space that offer incredible canyon views and a glimpse of the city lights below.

The property also comes equipped with a wine cellar, a gym (to work off all the wine), and an 11-car garage (that’s room for more cars than there are bedrooms). It’s also got a giant chandelier that’s probably more expensive than your entire rent, two fireplaces, and a wing dedicated to staff.
Let’s not forget the library, a gourmet kitchen, and a formal dining room that could host all your friends and family without breaking a sweat.

But wait, there’s more. Outside, you can cool off in the mosaic-tiled pool. For those wanting to get extra active, you can show off your tennis skills on the court, complete with a viewing platform. When you’re done, toss a few slices in the pizza oven, and if your family wants to visit, that’s what the guest house is for.
