The Internet Reacts to Drake Threatening to Sue Over “Not Like Us”

It’s been a great year for Drake haters worldwide.

Drake has been taking L after L the entire year, with some of the biggest names in rap, including A$AP Rocky, Future, and Metro Boomin, calling him out for his BS. However, nobody pulled harder on his barrette braids than Kendrick in 2024. He stayed on his neck their entire rap battle, from addressing his family on “Meet The Grahams” to finally releasing the smash hit “Not Like Us.” Now, though, Drake has decided to run to the adults of the hip-hop playground and tell them that his peers aren’t playing nice.

He filed a “pre-action” petition against UMG and Spotify on November 25, accusing the duo of working together to launch “an illegal ‘scheme’ involving bots, pay-to-play and other methods” to boost “Not Like Us.”

He then filed another legal action against UMG and accused them of defamation for publishing Kendrick’s “Not Liks Us” when they could have stopped its release. He also accused iHeartRadio of being a part of a “pay-to-play” scheme to help the track explode worldwide.

Champagne Papi getting into his Karen bag has disappointed his fans, given his haters more ammo, and probably has Kendrick cackling somewhere with his family. We broke down some of the most viral reactions to Drake’s recent moves.
