First, he took the UK underground scene by storm. Then, the Timothée Chalamet situation had the world in a chokehold. But, when it comes down to the mystery of EsDeeKid, who exactly is he?
While we’re still on the case, doing the detective work and putting all of the pieces together, we ranked some of his best songs in the meantime. The 10 best EsDeeKid songs, along with the reasons we chose them, are below.
10. “Palaces” (with Rico Ace)
Before dropping his first album, Rebel (in June 2025), EsDeeKid’s catalog was already growing and getting a real buzz. “Palaces” dropped nearly a year earlier, marking his first track with frequent collaborator Rico Ace.
With less than a 2-minute runtime, the two spit some rapid-fire lines about their lavish lifestyle and living it up in Liverpool. The beat is infectious, with a wavy flow that makes it hard to sit still—the signature traits in EsDeeKid’s arsenal.
9. “Century”
His most recent single dropped on Halloween 2025, and it fits the theme perfectly. From the very start of the track, the haunting chords provide a cinematic backdrop for EsDee to stomp all over.
As with the vast majority of his tracks, “Century” doesn’t pull any punches. The bass knocks crazy, and every line hits home, showing that EsDeeKid is out to prove he’s “the hardest out this century.”
8. “Tartan” (feat. Fimiguerrero)
While his delivery and lyrics are unique enough to stand out, EsDeeKid’s sound plugs perfectly into today’s algorithm as well. He isn’t afraid to go the futuristic, spacey route with his beat selection, and that’s what “Tartan” brings to the table.
Rebel’s closing track, featuring Fimiguerrero, pairs an addictive hook with war-ready wordplay pulled from ancient empires and 300-level bravado. The beat builds triumphantly, giving the album a victorious send-off.
7. “Panic”
If an alien visited Earth and asked, “What did 2025 sound like?” this track would be the answer. Heavy distortion and an intense delivery are the standout features of this song, creating the sense of “Panic” that the title conveys.
EsDeeKid’s music takes all of the notable traits of today and turns them up to 11. Another track that comes in at less than 2 minutes? Perfect for today’s attention spans without sacrificing sound and lyrical quality.
6. “Rottweiler”
If you wanna be one of the big dogs in the game, you need a track like “Rottweiler” in your catalog. While damn near every EsDeeKid joint can be described as “hard” or “high-energy,” this one is the definition of it.
While it’s one of his slowest hooks, it’s also one of the catchiest. Before you know it, you’ll be wanting a bust down chain as well.
5. “Mist” (with Rico Ace)
Okay. We know it’s only a few tracks, but hear us out. EsDeeKid and Rico Ace could be on a young Shaq and Kobe type of run—in their respective lane. Most of the best songs on Rebel feature Rico, and they mesh like the best of em.
“Mist” goes heavy on the distortion once again, but listening closely allows the bars to cut through. Neither of the two are lacking anything lyrically, making for one of the more witty songs on the project.
4. “Cali Man” (with Rico Ace)
Another Rico Ace x EsDeeKid collab? Another hit. Although he’s from Liverpool, England, “Cali Man” shows EsDee is moving like a big shot right out of LA.
The elements of this beat are a blend of nostalgia and futurism—the hi hats and ad-libs sound like something The Neptunes would have cooked up, while the chords and bass could have come right out of the Yeat playbook. And we mean that in the best way possible.
3. “LV Sandals” (feat. fakemink & Rico Ace)
“LV Sandals” is where EsDeeKid really separates himself from the pack. The instrumentation is almost grating, the mixing is intentionally rough, and the “OK” tag is jarring. But, somehow, it works perfectly.
“She f*cking with my raps, it’s sounding very different,” raps Rico Ace, but that could go for everyone on the track. The hook, provided by fellow rising star fakemink, will have you running back to this one (in your Louis V sandals, of course).
2. “Phantom” (with Rico Ace)
“B*tch, I’m all about my passions. Music, money, and fashion.” Those two lines tell you everything you need to know about EsDeeKid, and what his entire catalog is all about.
The simplistic approach, completely opposite to “LV Sandals,” makes “Phantom” a great entry point into his discography. Rather than even having a verse, the lengthy hook is his contribution, and Rico Ace comes through again with some bars to really set things off. Their balance is a staple in EsDeeKid’s discography and one of the best things about his music.
1. “4 Raws”
His longest song, at nearly 2 minutes and 30 seconds, “4 Raws” showcases the entirety of EsDeeKid’s skillset in a succinct package. His Scouse accent—the distinct Liverpool accent—is absurdly catchy, adding a unique layer right off the bat. It was already one of his biggest songs, then 2025’s White Boy of the Year Timothée Chalamet hopped on the track, and it went global.
The Tim Chalamet remix, available only on his Twitter (X) account, has over 110M views in 2 weeks. Fueled by rumors that Chalamet was EsDeeKid, the reveal took the internet by storm. Another example of when one of an artist’s best songs also keeps getting bigger over time, and both the original and remix have all of the EsDeeKid qualities you need to hear.
