Editor’s Note (Dec 2025): This list has been updated to reflect the latest tour grosses and new entries.
It’s one thing to listen to your favorite artist in the car. It’s a whole different experience to see them live (hopefully as close as possible). Hip-hop shows have upgraded from the lone rapper on stage moving from side to side and become a full-blown production with pyrotechnics and flying objects (that don’t get stuck like Chris Brown.)
But only a select few have made the jump from rap stars to full-blown superstars. These big dogs can put people in seats and pack out stadiums worldwide. The upper echelon rakes in hundreds of millions of dollars every time they tour, but who amongst them did it the biggest and best?
Below, we break down the highest-grossing rap tours of all time.
#7 The Final Lap Tour by 50 Cent – $105 Million
Forever Internet troll and “Candy Shop” owner 50 Cent celebrated the 20th anniversary of his 2003 debut album, Get Rich or Die Tryin, with a tour starting in July 2023. He shared his accomplishments with the world, performing at 83 shows from Cleveland to Paris. Along with playing classics like “In Da Club” and “Many Men,” the show had plenty of iconic moments for fans to repost.
Eminem joined one of his best friends on stage in Detroit to perform their songs “Crack A Bottle” and “Patiently Waiting” (fun fact: Eminem signed 50 Cent to Shady Records before the album dropped). His quick changes went viral online (we still can’t figure out exactly how he did it) as fans gave the rapper his flowers.
#6 The Pink Friday 2 Tour by Nicki Minaj – $108 Million
After a five-year hiatus, Nicki Minaj launched the Pink Friday 2 Tour in March 2024 to support her album of the same name, which was released in 2023. Including her Reloaded leg, Minaj and her openers, including BIA and Tyga, did 79 shows in cities such as New Orleans and Austin. Along with “The Harajuku Barbie” performing some of her biggest hits like “Roman’s Revenge” and her verse on Ye’s “Monster,” she had plenty of viral moments when she wasn’t spitting on the mic.
She met with fans outside of her hotel in Manchester after her show was canceled due to her arrest in Amsterdam for alleged “soft drug” possession. A clip of her mistaking her photographer for someone inappropriately trying to film her blew up on social media (she has since apologized for the mistake). The visuals brought “Gag City” to life while also paying tribute to Minaj’s alter egos throughout the years.
#5 The Big Steppers Tour by Kendrick Lamar – $111 Million
Kendrick Lamar’s ‘The Big Steppers’ Tour in 2022 raked in a whopping $111M, making it the 5th highest-grossing rap tour of all time. The scale of the tour came as no surprise based on how successful the album was. Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers went #1 on Billboard with 295k first week sales—which places the album itself in the top 10 first week sales for a rap album this decade.
K. Dot gave fans a show to remember, getting into his Beethoven bag to play the intro to “HUMBLE” on the piano. He performed “Family Ties” with Baby Keem, proving just how legendary a duo they are by going back and forth on ad-libs alone. He also had a heartwarming moment with a young fan named Kendrick that made a lasting impression online.
The Big Steppers Tour spanned six continents and lasted for 103 shows, 28 of which were festival appearances. Additionally, Amazon Prime Video released a recorded special—Kendrick Lamar Live: The Big Steppers Tour—showcasing the festivities in Paris, France. It held the record as the highest-grossing solo rap tour until 2023, when it was surpassed by the next entry on this list.
#4 The Circus Maximus Tour by Travis Scott – $209 Million
When Travis Scott dropped Utopia, it was a given that the follow-up tour would be a spectacle. The hype around the album was massive, and LaFlame’s fanbase is always ready to open up the pit at a moment’s notice, so the announcement of the 2023 Circus Maximus tour was the perfect storm. After Utopia moved an insane 496k units in its first week, the tour grossed $209M, becoming the 4th-highest-grossing rap tour ever.
The Circus Maximus tour ran from October 11, 2025, to November 19, 2025 (with the extended 2025 dates happening as special showings in India, China, South Africa, Japan and more). The November 8 show in Tokorozawa, Japan featured a surprise appearance by Kanye West, and broke the record as the single highest-selling show ever by a rap artist in Japan.
#3 On The Run II Tour by Jay-Z, Beyoncé – $254 million
“What’s better than one billionaire? Two,” rapped Jay-Z on the track “Family Feud” (from his 2017 album 4:44). Well, putting together a tour with Beyoncé that grossed $254M definitely padded the pockets a bit more. In June 2018, The Carters started the OTR II Tour in Cardiff, Wales. It ran for only 6 months, ending in December of the same year, yet still ranked as the 3rd-highest-grossing hip-hop tour of all time.
Along with it being a relatively short tour in terms of timespan, there were only 49 shows in total. On the initial ticket drop, multiple locations—like Paris, London, Houston, and Chicago—fully sold out in under an hour, so the pair added more shows to cater to their fans. Also, with Bey fresh off of Beychella, it’s no surprise that the On The Run II tour did numbers that crazy.
#2 It’s All a Blur Tour by Drake — $321 Million
After a 5-year hiatus from touring in North America, Drake came back swinging with the It’s All A Blur Tour. Split into two legs, it spanned 80 shows from July 2023 to April 2024. The first leg was co-headlined by his Her Loss partner-in-crime, 21 Savage, while the second leg—titled It’s All a Blur – Big As The What?—was co-headlined by his “First Person Shooter” collaborator J. Cole. Fans who had waited half a decade to see Drizzy poured out en masse, and the tour did a ridiculous $321M in less than a year’s time.
Along with the aforementioned co-headliners, the list of special guests was absolutely insane: Travis Scott, Lil Wayne, Lil Baby, Sexyy Red, Lil Durk, Central Cee, and more pulled up to do their thing.
An interesting thing to note about the J. Cole-assisted leg of the tour in particular? It’s possible that it helped spark the fastest-paced and commercially viable rap beef in history. At the very least, it inspired the lyric, “It’s three GOATs left, and I see two of the kissin’ and huggin’ on stage.”
The It’s All a Blur tour sits as the second-highest-grossing rap tour of all time, and it might have been a catalyst for what sits in the number one spot…
#1 The Grand National Tour by Kendrick Lamar, SZA — $332 Million
The Kendrick Lamar & Drake beef created shockwaves that are cemented in rap history. Drake fans are still tweeting about it. Kendrick fans are still talking about it. People are still writing about it. But this time, it’s for good reason.
“Not Like Us,” the highlight track from the saga, performed so well—sitting at #1 on Billboard for multiple weeks, breaking Spotify streaming records, etc.—that it was inevitable for Kendrick to translate that style into an album of its own. And after the Super Bowl announcement in September 2024, fans just knew that he wasn’t coming with old material. On the morning of November 22, 2024, he dropped GNX and kept the West Coast-themed party going. At the same time, something equally special happened.
While GNX features hard-hitting deep cuts and West Coast bangers, it’s also home to the melodic & moody SZA-assisted “luther,” by far the biggest song from the album (and one of the biggest songs of their respective careers). It’s no surprise that when the Grand National Tour announcement rolled around on December 3, 2024, the duo decided to make it a joint venture.
The tour started in April 2025 and runs until December, but as of November 13th, 2025, it’s already the highest-grossing hip-hop tour of all time, pulling in $332M from 42 of the 47 shows. SZA co-headlined until the August 9 stop in Sweden, with Kendrick acting as a solo headliner since. It’ll be interesting to see the full total when the tour concludes in a few weeks. And we’ll be watching to see the next hip-hop artists to enter this exclusive company.
