Fans had been ready for Tyler, the Creator to drop his next project, but he had been keeping everything under wraps — until October 16. First dropping “St. Chroma,” Tyler created a whole new world for his fans to dive into. Not following the delayed rollout style favored by the likes of Ye and Carti, Tyler’s been revealing more and more news about Chromakopia as the October 28th, 6 am EST release date approaches.
Tour, vinyls, and a listening party
Shortly after Tyler announced the new album, green trucks with the album title began showing up across the country and were able to be found via the official map.
However, there wasn’t just the trucks to get excited about. On October 21, Tyler dropped another song off the project called NOID with an accompanying music video. Featuring his bestie Ayo Edebiri mid-crash out, the comments were filled with everything from GOAT emojis to praises about him being the best producer ever (behind Ye).
But wait — there’s more! He announced his vinyl presale on October 22 and to the delight of his fans, he finally announced his next big world tour.
Going back on the road with Paris Texas and Lil Yachty, the tour starts in February 2025 and goes all the way until September. He will be traveling through North America, Oceania and Europe.
For those that live in the LA area, though, he announced that he would be playing the album in full on October 27th at the Intuit Dome, but don’t expect him to be performing. He is just going to be lip-synching along to the new songs (the one page he took out of Ye’s rollout book). The event costs $5, once again showing that Tyler is for the people.
“You’re doing it all the right way, man. Class act,” X user bruddareese said in an October 24 post.
Even if you aren’t waking up for the album’s early drop time, there’s still plenty of music and events to look forward to from Tyler, the Creator.
