NBA YoungBoy is Back Outside Soon

His release date has been moved up.

NBA Youngboy has had a chaotic few months, to say the least. However, things have finally started to look up. Last April, the rapper was arrested and hit with over 40 charges stemming from an alleged prescription drug fraud scheme. The charges included possession of controlled substances, forgery, identity fraud, and more.

He was already on house arrest at the time in Utah for violating his 2017 probation for a firearms charge.

He eventually pleaded guilty last November to “two counts of third-degree felony identity fraud, two counts of third-degree felony forgery, and six counts of misdemeanor unlawful pharmacy conduct.”

His original plea deal required him to serve 27 months in federal prison, followed by five years of probation, while also paying a $25,000 fine. In exchange, his felony charges were reduced to misdemeanors. Initially, he wasn’t expected to be released until July—but now, he’s getting out much sooner.

His release is on the horizon

The rapper’s new release date is April 26. It’s unclear what got his release date moved up. He allegedly knocked out another inmate who screamed “OTF” (his beef with Lil Durk goes back years), so it may not be for good behavior, but either way, his fans are excited.

With the rapper dropping his newest project, More Leaks, earlier this month, fingers crossed that a tour comes soon after his official release.
