Ye’s Still Beefing with Playboi Carti & Dropped ‘BULLY V1’

The rapper has been nonstop online.

Ye has been on a rampage on X this week, calling out everyone from Tyler, the Creator to his ex-wife for allegedly betraying him. One of his biggest targets has been Playboi Carti after he was left off the rapper’s new album, MUSIC

The rant ignited when Carti asked North West to feature on a song, prompting Ye to shut it down, declaring that his daughter wouldn’t work with them. He even dragged Carti’s ex, Iggy Azalea, and their child into the drama. Despite the ongoing back-and-forth, the Chicago native still found time to drop new music.

Ye is really in his BULLY era

Carti kept his response to Ye’s recent meltdown short and sweet, telling the rapper to “STFU” on March 19.

Unfortunately for us, though, Ye has just kept going…and going. He posted that he wanted to harm Carti now physically and declared himself the “worst enemy to have.”

“CARTI YOU A CHILD YOU FAKE DARK. I BEEN IN THIS SHIT 30 YEARS AND I SEEN AND KNOW WHAT IT REALLY IS. I AM THE DON I AM THE LEADER. THIS CARTI S*** IS THE FINAL HEARTBREAK I CAN DEAL WITH … ALL THIS S*** IS ABOUT CLOUT FOR ALL YALL. THESE MY REAL KIDS,” he wrote on X March 19.

You know a Ye rant is never just one post. He continued to call Carti washed, in his own way, and retweeted a meme about a new rap civil war between himself and Carti (probably without realizing the meme was poking fun at him more than anyone else).

Now-deleted post from Ye on X.

Despite the drama, Ye still teased what he has been cooking up in the studio, dropping the 30-minute BULLY V1 on March 18 and a short film (directed by Hype Williams) starring his son Saint West. This version isn’t the final product, though. The rapper confessed that half of the vocals on the project are AI — but they might be removed because “I actually hate AI now,” he said in a since-deleted post. It seems everything Ye “loves” has the shelf life of perishable foods.

The rapper also asked his fans if they would want VULTURES 3 or DONDA 3 first, so it’s clear that he is still working on new music when he isn’t posting into the abyss. Let’s hope he spends more time in the studio than calling out the people he once said he loved and supported.
