It’s like someone said his name three times in the mirror—Ye has reappeared on X with the force of a chaotic spiritual summoning. Instead of keeping his thoughts in a Notes app or, you know, a therapist’s office, he’s decided to post them. All of them. From ranting about the music industry to casually declaring that he, Trump, and Elon Musk are immortals (sure), Ye is still flooding the timeline, and we’re all just hostages on the group chat from hell.
With the chaotic energy of a drunk best man speech, the rapper’s latest rants are targeting Playboi Carti, Tyler, the Creator, 50 Cent, and other former collaborators and friends.
Ye vs. Playboi Carti
During his Twitch debut on April 25 (before getting banned 7 minutes in), Ye dropped a bizarre bombshell: Carti allegedly rolled up to the Chateau Marmont Hotel (where Ye was staying at the time) with a gun.
“This n**** told me he was at the Chateau with a gun, n****. What that mean, n****? And the n**** say he don’t be on the internet. It’s like, if you don’t be on the internet, what are we talking about, then? I ain’t say nothing, then,” Ye said.
Carti has yet to respond, but there has been bad blood between the two since the ATL native allegedly removed Ye from his newest album, MUSIC, and then asked to collaborate with North West.
Ye vs. Cam’ron
Like any true agent of chaos, Ye didn’t stop there. That same day, he decided to call out Cam’ron (his old Roc-A-Fella labelmate) for calling him a “stain” on Chicago. What followed was peak Ye: a mix of fake humility, backhanded praise, and unfiltered rage.
“How Cam say I’m doing anything bad for Chicago…Chicago loves me. I love Cam. It’s n***** like you that had me shook to release the song but I ain’t scared of y’all n*****. And thank you for making Dipset. You’re a God. And fuck you by the way. And I got on my 2 million dollar Dipset belt as I tweet,” he said.
Cam’ron, of course, clapped back during an episode of It Is What It Is, delivering a monologue that somehow managed to be even more unhinged than Ye’s post.
“I don’t usually talk to n***** who suck d***…Once they suck d***, I don’t go back. I don’t go back and forth once you admit you suck d***. That’s why I’m talking about, ‘What are we doing,’” he said on the show.
So that feud’s officially off the rails.
Ye vs. Virgil, 50 Cent, and Tyler
Picking up steam, Ye decided to come after Virgil Abloh (again) and somehow made the late designer’s tragic death about him:
“N****s who go against me be dead. N****s who steal from me– look at Virgil. He dead. N*****s who steal from me and try to take the king position be dead … When we say ‘Watch the Throne,’ it’s only one throne. It’s only one king. We know who the king is obviously. Who y’all watching? Who y’all care about,” he said.
Then came the jab at 50 Cent (now downgraded to “25 Cent,” because Ye still hasn’t forgotten that Graduation outsold Curtis in 2007). And for the cherry on top? A flex about how his son Saint told Tyler, the Creator that Ye is better than him at the Kardashian Christmas party. Festive!
Let’s be real, though: Ye’s loyalty has the shelf life of an open soda. One wrong move, one perceived slight, and you could go from “legend” to “opp” in a single livestream. If Ye’s recent behavior is any indication, this ride’s far from over — and someone desperately needs to change the Wi-Fi password at his house.
