What We Know About Ye’s New Album ‘WW3’

The latest song details his alleged split with wife Bianca Censori.

It’s no surprise that Ye has been on one for the past couple of weeks. His recent interview with DJ Akademiks, where he wore a black KKK hood and robe, set social media on fire as he took aim at everyone from Playboi Carti to his ex-wife, Kim Kardashian, accusing them of betraying him. Now, the controversial rapper is leaning into the chaos and dropping new music (allegedly).

Ye teases ‘WW3’ album with Dave Blunts

The Chicago native was set to drop his latest album, WW3, on April 4, with the only feature being rapper Dave Blunts. To no one’s surprise, the album didn’t drop as scheduled, but that doesn’t mean it won’t ever see the light of day.

The two previously got in touch when Ye was connecting Blunts with his personal trainer. Ye also called out Rolling Loud for not letting Blunts perform some of his offensive tracks that include anti-LGBTQIA+ slurs (this was later clarified to be a request from Blunts’ team, not the festival). The only letter in the alphabet Ye’s been an ally to as of late is K.

DJ Akademiks announced the album was coming while on his livestream—Ye allegedly gave him the exclusive on the news. The eleven-track project includes songs like “Cosby,” “Nitrous,” and “Bianca.” The latter song is one of the most controversial, with the rapper and his wife Bianca Censori reportedly calling it quits. On the track, Ye sings about Censori allegedly trying to have the rapper committed, having a panic attack over his controversial tweets, and running away.

The song kicks off with, “Bianca, I just want you to come back, come back to me,” and then it sounds like he says,”I don’t know what I did to make you mad” (although Genius disagrees). Off the top of my head, I can name about 10 things, but hey, we’re all surprised they lasted this long. She allegedly drove off in his Maybach, and he tracked her through the app, which tells me I’m not in a high enough tax bracket to know the features of $200,000 cars.

Nevertheless, there’s plenty of rage-baiting to go around. Alongside “Cosby” is a song called “Free Diddy,” dedicating two songs on the album to men accused of sexual misconduct. The fourth song is called “Dirty Magazines,” which may reference the pornography addiction he admitted to having in 2022 before his failed attempt at creating “Yeezy Porn” in 2024.

While nothing Ye’s teased about the new album is that shocking, it may be the first time he didn’t drop, and fans weren’t mad. The general consensus seems to be that WW3 can stay in the vault.
