YFN Lucci Goes All Out For Easter in ATL

The rapper spent the holiday giving back to his community.

From candy-filled eggs to the second helping of dinner, you know includes mac and cheese, Easter isn’t just about indulgence (and the inevitable food coma) — it’s about community. For YFN Lucci, this year’s celebration was extra special. The Atlanta rapper, known for his projects including 2016’s Wish Me Well 2, which charted on the Billboard 200, has plenty to be proud of. The project’s standout single, “Key to the Streets” featuring Migos and Trouble, not only landed on the Billboard Hot 100 but also earned platinum certification. After a difficult period that included time behind bars, the rapper is now back home — and focused on giving back to the city that raised him.

It’s Easter the YFN Lucci way

The Second Golden Bunny Bash is far from YFN Lucci’s first community service project. For over a decade, he has remained deeply involved in the neighborhoods that shaped him. He has led annual holiday giveback programs to ensure families can celebrate Christmas and organized back-to-school drives to help kids start the academic year prepared.

On April 20, YFN Lucci’s non-profit, the Well Wishes Community Organization, teamed up with The Blessing All Neighborhood Kids (B.A.N.K.) Foundation to host an Easter bash for over 650 registered children and their families.

“Being back in my community, seeing these kids smile—this is what matters most to me … Atlanta raised me, shaped me, and supported my dreams. Everything I do is about showing the community that someone who walked these same streets cares about their future and believes in them,” the rapper said.

The event was packed with fun for all ages, featuring live music from DJ Lavish Lee, scavenger hunts, and a variety of themed activity stations. Adding a personal touch, YFN Lucci paid tribute to his children through the names of the event’s activations: “Justice’s Pop It Popcorn Station,” “Legacy’s Hoopy Scoops Italian Ice Station,” “Liberty’s Cottontail Cotton Candy Station,” and “Honest’s Eggstravagant Face Painting.”

“My kids are my world, and I want them to understand that true success isn’t measured by what you have, but by what you give …I’m teaching them that being a support system for others isn’t optional—it’s our responsibility. When they see me organizing these events and connecting with our community, they’re learning lessons that no amount of success or money could teach them,” YFN Lucci said.

YFN Lucci personally handed out Easter baskets and remained hands-on throughout the event, which didn’t go unnoticed by families and local leaders. With events like this, the rapper is proving that his influence extends far beyond music charts — he’s making a real difference right at home.
