After being released from jail last week, Young Thug has slowly been starting to show his face in the rap world again. He posted a video with T.I. on November 5, telling the world he was back. Now, he’s making appearances in the classroom.
Young Thug shares advice with students
Brian Steel made an appearance at Emory Law School in ATL to speak with the students. However, he also called Thugga via Facetime to share some words of inspiration.
“We had a situation that was daunting towards my life and I think the justice system could be bad. You know, sometimes it could be bad, and you gotta always look at it, like, they’re there to put us in prison and you guys are here to keep us from prison,” Young Thug said on the phone.
He gave his public flowers to Steel, calling him the “best person possible” while also encouraging the next generation of lawyers.
“I think you guys should become lawyers. I think it’s very important to help people out of the situations they’re in the best you can. I mean, what side do you wanna be on? You wanna put people in prison for mistakes? Because everybody makes mistakes, we’re human. And everybody in this classroom, you always need to know that you want one mistake away,” Jeffery said.
While the verdict isn’t exactly what Steel wanted for his client, he is happy, just like the rest of his fans, to have Thugga back home.
