One of the most versatile rap acts coming out of California right now, BJ Mr. Clean, makes waves this fall with his first release of the year, Gucci Mane La Flare. The Cincinnati native dropped his latest project on September 14th, nearly a year after the release of his last album, Houstatlantavegas.
Gucci Mane La Flare boasts the best of Mr. Clean’s high vibration energy, lyrical prowess, and talented production. The obvious homage to infamous Alabama rapper Gucci Mane, comes in the form of a 4-track EP, with the entirety of the tape hosted by prolific producer DJ Scream. Featuring a runtime of only 12 minutes, this short but potent project is a perfect introduction to BJ Mr. Clean and his creative sound for new listeners.
However, BJ Mr. Clean is not only out for himself! The rapper has made connecting and creating with others within the hip-hop space a core part of his unique mission. Since opening for (and networking with) rap giants like Lil Durk, Mozzy, 21 Savage, The Game, Migos, and more, Mr. Clean has turned his focus to developing the talents that reside within Central California. In fact, the rap act has even more music on the way, as he works to collaborate with skilled DJ’s in the 805 like DJ Carisma and DJ Flip to bring out the best Central Cali has to offer.
In addition to Mr. Clean’s musical endeavors, the rapper also runs a successful clothing and cannabis company named Gifted Stoners. Putting his degree in Biology of Horticulture and passion for fashion to good use, Mr Clean looks to break the stereotypes surrounding lovers of Mary Jane, purporting that stoners can, in fact, be gifted!
So, what’s next for Mr. Clean? The ambitious rap act has no plans on slowing down, despite having just dropped last month. Instead, Mr. Clean plans to focus on developing Gifted Stoners, connecting with talented individuals, and potentially even announcing a tour! No matter what direction Mr. Clean plans to take, we’ll plan on being front row to witness it!
Listen to Gucci Mane La Flare, out now on Apple Music, Spotify, Amazon Music, and Youtube.
