He tweeted out this job opening and curious fans inquired about what is needed to be accepted onto the team.
Musk responded, that he only seeks someone that has knowledge of artificial intelligence and who can demonstrate a “deep understanding” of it.
All candidates will be put through a rigorous coding test to prove their merit.
This ” just prove yourself” kind of attitude directly aligns with his beliefs regarding education and how it can be unimportant.
Therefore, if you are an individual with talents that can possibly help Tesla move forward and achieve their goals, then he wants you on the team.
He only looks for those who have an exceptional track record of experience, to him, that is worth much more than what any degree can offer him.
Tesla needs talented individuals who will pass these tests so that they can complete the company’s self-driving goals. Truly the work of the future, they want their cars to drive themselves with exceptional AI.
