Kendrick Lamar

Last month: -

Kung-Fu Kenny returned to the Power Rankings this month following an explosive guest verse on “Like That” from Future & Metro Boomin’s latest collaborative album, “We Don’t Trust You.” Kendrick’s feature on the song went wildly viral as fans heavily speculated it contained disses aimed directly at J. Cole and Drake. On “Like That” Kendrick condemned the idea of contemporary rap music’s “Big 3,” as mentioned in Drake & J. Cole’s “First Person Shooter,” and asserted himself as the best. The feature made the song a standout hit on the album, and reiterated Kendrick’s stance on the “Big 3” discussion, encouraging competition over collaboration.
