J. Cole is once again bringing his Dreamville Festival back to his home state of North Carolina, but he is also teaming with Amazon Music to livestream the event worldwide. Cole and Amazon struck a deal Monday (March 28), according to HipHopDX.
“In just a few short years, J. Cole has made Dreamville Festival into one of the preeminent hip-hop moments of the year, hosting performances from the hottest up-and-coming artists and established talents,” said Tim Hinshaw, head of Hip Hop and R&B for Amazon Music.
“We at Rotation have worked to make Amazon Music the home for these kinds of activations and I can’t wait to bring Dreamville Festival into the homes of Hip Hop and R&B fans around the globe,” said a rep at Rotation.
The Fayetteville, NC native will host the event in Raleigh with fellow headliner Lil Baby and many more at Dorothea Dix Park on April 2nd and 3rd (2022). Tickets for the actual concert are on sale now at dreamvillefest.com with 2 day passes starting at $249. For those unable to make the event, fans can watch on Prime Video and Twitch (https://amzn.to/3LiDWM8) this Saturday and Sunday at 2pm ET.
