If Kanye West cannot have Kim Kardashian in marriage, at least he can have her in his neighborhood. At least that is how it appears after Kanye paid $4.5 million for a house across the street from his estranged wife – $421,000 over asking price, according to HipHopDX.
Built in 1955 and featuring a somewhat homely architectural style, the structure seems to have nothing that would normally appeal to Ye other than proximity to Kim and his children. The house is a relatively humble 3,600 square feet with only has 2.5 baths, four bedrooms and a kitchen that was remodeled in 2005, but it is never-the-less sitting atop a property located in a coveted Hidden Hills, CA neighborhood – Kim’s neighborhood – and that seems to be the kicker.
Kanye has expressed in recent interviews and performances his desire to reunite with Kim Kardashian, though Kim’s actions have signaled nothing that would indicate the same sentiment in return. In fact, court documents leaked to TMZ last week indicated that there is little hope for the marriage.
It is unclear how Kim feels about Kanye’s recent purchase or if she intends to remain in her current home under these new circumstances.
