Those who were hoping for a Kim-Kanye reconciliation might need to pause and take a short breath. TMZ reported yesterday (October 12) that the couple is beginning to divide their assets in what is apparently an ongoing divorce. One day after the public learned that Kanye listed his $11 million Wyoming mansion for sale, Kim is now reportedly taking full possession of their California Hidden Hills estate worth an astounding $60 million.
HipHopDX sites court documents from Tuesday (October 12) that confirm the legal transaction. Kanye famously hired revered architect Axel Vervoordt to design the home – whose construction was completed over a number of years – in 2014 with an original purchase price of $20 million.
Kim and her four children have reportedly been living in the Hidden Hills home since she filed for divorce in February.
This legal turn of events is in contrast to what many believed were signs of hope for the couple, including Kim’s appearance at one of Ye’s Donda events and a recent dinner in a romantic L.A. restaurant.
