There is an adage that states that it takes 10,000 hours to become great at something. Essentially saying, there is no replacement for the hard work that has to go into something in order for you to become an expert at it.
Juice WRLD may have been a believer in this as he could always be found recording and working on his craft. He was practically living in the studio and even working on new material while he was on tour.
The late rapper’s project confidants tell TMZ that he had recorded around 2,000 unreleased tracks prior to his accidental overdose last month. They are looking for ways to “pay tribute with his unheard work” by possibly putting out a posthumous project.
A statement to his fans and supports was released by Juice’s family and Grade A Productions saying this:
“From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank each and every one of you for your undivided adoration and love for Juice. You guys meant the world to Juice and by listening to his music, watching his videos, and sharing your stories about him, you are keeping his memory alive forever. We plan to honor Juice’s talents, his spirit, and the love he felt for his fans by sharing unreleased music and other projects that he was passionately in the process of developing. There will be a public tribute in Chicago, details will be shared soon”
Clearly acknowledging that the fans who truly support their artist, will never want his legacy to fade.
Although there has not been word on how completed each of these unreleased songs are, Juice WRLD fans can rejoice knowing that they have not heard the last from the rapper.
Until the details are shared through Juice’s team, the latest work from the prolific MC can be found on Eminem’s new track “Godzilla” off of the surprise album Music to be Murdered By.
