Kanye West donated 1,000 meals to the L.A. mission last week. At that time, he also sat down with Reverend Troy Vaughn, CEO of L.A. Mission to lay out a 4-point plan that he believes can help the problem of homelessness in the city, according to a TMZ exclusive.
West proposed strengthening relationships with organizations across the city to feed the homeless population. He wants to provide education, jobs and housing through his companies, inspire and uplift the community with his Sunday Services and partner with outside groups to combine efforts to attack the problem.
Kanye also spoke directly to people at the mission about the importance of family and God’s role in relationships.
The homelessness population in Los Angeles has grown exponentially worse through the Covid-19 pandemic which has inspired numerous efforts to assist this population.
